Amanda relocated to Austin from the east coast. She first discovered group fitness while in law school and was immediately drawn to the challenge and comradery that group fitness classes bring. After becoming an avid group fitness enthusiast she turned her passion into teaching. Amanda taught a variety of strength training, yoga, and pilates classes while living in Florida and then once moving to Austin. She discovered MOD when trying to spice up her fitness routine. After the first class, she knew she was hooked. She was surprised by how small weights and movements could have such an impact on her strength and tone and loved the energy and variety of MOD classes. Amanda was thrilled at the opportunity to begin teaching at MOD and looks forward to sharing her passion for fitness and strength training through high-energy workouts with members of the Austin community. When not at MOD, Amanda enjoys spending time with her friends and family and walking her dog on the trails.
